The 1959 Chevy as I got it — with mice and misc parts. The nice thing was that we found much of the car right inside the cabin! Quick story: Mike Brimm owned this, when a tornado hit his property and a tree fell on it, totaling it. My buddy Dave Pfaff bought the car off him for the front clip. Steve (my hubby) helped Dave remove the clip, and Dave gave me the rest of the car! So to start, literally $0 investment!
This is work in progress 🙂 Turning a 4-door sedan into a 6 window Chevy is much more complicated than it sounds!
Meanwhile, the girls were installing the Vintage Air unit. It was a challenge, however we persevered, and yes, Ramona has air conditioning and great heat!
More progress on exterior:
Getting ready for Autorama ’15, and life after paint.
Currently, Ramona is in the barn as we gather all the parts for her OEM parts disc brake conversion. Much more to come!!!
